Absorbing read courtesy of author M. Redding’s debut novel! The tension steadily builds as the reader is introduced to and follows the life of protagonist Johnathan Eckers in this sci-fi thriller. Especially notable is the writing style M. Redding’s employs: leaving no surprise to chance, the reader is left in the dark along with Johnathan trying to figure out what the true intentions for Indigo 5 are. While some authors attempt to adopt the same technique, often the reader can still guess the outcome with accuracy and “ see around the corner” to the plot. Not so here: M. Redding created suspense and excitement as the plot advances and the mystery deepens, continuing to leave the reader surprised at each turn. A read well worth the time!
